Fully embracing the spirit of Wimbledon, The Midland’s Tea Room will be serving up a knockout tennis-themed afternoon tea in the Tea Room from July 1st – 14th.

Wimbledon colours will be in abundance, with grass and tennis balls throughout, and the patisserie team will be acing it with a selection of Wimbledon-themed treats, made up of sandwiches, cakes and strawberries and cream, as well as a selection of loose leaf tea and a glass of Champagne.

Available Monday – Friday 1pm-4.30pm and Saturday – Sunday, 12.30pm – 6.30pm, The Midland’s Wimbledon afternoon tea is priced at £27 per person.

A stalwart on the Manchester social scene since the hotel opened in 1903, The Midland’s afternoon tea has been a mainstay on the menu for over a century. There are a whole range of afternoon tea menus to choose from, including Traditional Afternoon Tea, Royal Afternoon Tea, Vegetarian Afternoon Tea, Vegan Afternoon Tea and Gluten Afternoon Tea. There is also a Children’s Afternoon Tea available and the Tea Room recently launched its first Brunch menu, which is available daily from 10.30am – 1.30pm.

In addition to the Tea Room, both The Midland Hotel’s Lounge and Mr Cooper’s will be serving up a treat with a glass of Champagne and strawberries and cream for £12 per person for the duration of the tournament.

Afternoon Tea at the Tea Room can be booked online via www.tearoomatthemidland.co.uk. Walk-ins are also welcomed. No bookings are required for strawberries and cream in the Lounge or at Mr Cooper’s.
