BULLDOG Gin launches its Sunset Session on-trade campaign and annual Road to Ibiza incentive.
July 2018 – BULLDOG Gin, the iconic multi-occasion gin, today launches its nationwide on-trade initiative, BULLDOG Gin’s “Road to Ibiza”.
The BULLDOG Gin Road to Ibiza competition, which is part of the Sunset Sessions activation campaign, is launching nationwide in the Independent Free Trade Channel. The competition will see accounts work in partnership with BULLDOG Gin’s Regional Brand Development Managers to compete for a chance to attend BULLDOG Gin’s coveted annual Road to Ibiza trip.
The regional venues aim to deliver the best BULLDOG Sunset Session and / or BULLDOG Brunch in venues selected by the brand alongside DJ talent and production funded by BULLDOG Gin; to win a space on the bespoke trip of a life time.
Following its successful incentive in 2017, where eight bartenders from hero accounts across the UK competed for a chance to be a part of the first BULLDOG Gin Road to Ibiza trip; 2018 shows the brand continuing to support its partners.
The Sunset Sessions campaign is an evolution of 2017 highly sociable and talked about BULLDOG Brunch series which were activated across London and Ibiza in key accounts over the summer such as Sisu, London’s newest Thames-side bar Neverland London, The Hospital Club; and the weekly BULLDOG Brunch held in Ibiza’s Pikes hotel, which continues in 2018.
The Balearic BULLDOG Brunch will be held every Tuesday at Pike’s throughout the summer which will be hosted and streamed live on Ibiza’s Sonica Radio.
As well as the Independent Free Trade channel, a bespoke version of the Sunset Sessions activation will be taking place across The Alchemist sites in Manchester and London. Guests will be immersed in the BULLDOG Gin lifestyle, with bespoke cocktails and a high energy, sociable, stylish and innovative environment.
The brand will also pay homage to BULLDOG Gin’s association with and support of the music industry with a programme of established DJ’s who will be laying down the BULLDOG sound across the country. Consumers will have the opportunity to win a 2-day trip to the iconic Pikes Hotel in Ibiza this September via a social media competition.
To be in with a chance of winning consumers will post a picture at one of The Alchemist venues of their favourite BULLDOG Gin cocktail tagging in @bulldoggin_uk and @thealchemistuk and #BULLDOGSESSIONS.
In forming the initiative, BULLDOG Gin hopes to give back and show dedicated support to the community of influential bartenders who have helped catapult the once independently owned gin brand to the globally prestigious premium gin that it is today. The summer campaign will culminate in nine winners from the bartending community flying out to Ibiza for 3 days where they will be immersed in BULLDOG Gin’s personality and traits, whilst giving them the perfect, sundown to sunup island experience.
