Collaborate

If you arrived at this page, you’re looking to forge an editorial relationship with About Manchester.

So, thanks for your request to collaborate. We’d love to explore what we can do together!

About Manchester is, above all, about independent journalism. It’s free to read and champions and celebrates all of the Greater Manchester experience.

Collaborations are always welcomed and all editorial is tested to ensure it follows About Manchester’s brand and policy guidelines as a whole. This ensures the readers enjoy and benefit from business communication and marketing which is fair, honest and accurate, that it follows our editorial guidelines and that it complies with all legal, ethic and moral principles and applicable laws.

If we like the article, we will boost it on Twitter and Facebook to reach more people. We currently spend 1/4 of the publishing budget to boost – therefore a £100 spend would have £25 put back into boosting the post to reach an additional 50K people. See Media Pack Page for more details.

The editorial team reserves the right to refuse editorial content deemed not in the interest of its readership. From time to time, articles may need to be edited to remain relevant to the readership or alterations may need to be made at the publication stage. Alterations required at the publication phase will be communicated back to the original journalist who composed the piece. If the originator is not satisfied with any amends by the About Manchester editorial team – and the edits cannot be agreed through further dialogue, the originator may request that the article is not published or is unpublished.

We will also need to see your Terms & Conditions page to understand your posting on our site follows all legal, ethical and moral guidelines – these principles have helped the site grow to where it’s at.

In the spirit of About Manchester’s FREE philosophy, 3rd party editorials, advertorials, banners and all associated social media promotion must make best efforts to reflect transparency and value to the readership. All editorial must be legal, ethical and moral and must comply to UK press standard guidelines.

We should be able to comply with your follow/do not follow link requirements (if you have any) and we can also offer you a permanent link on our partners page (new) FOC if you wish to proceed: https://aboutmanchester.co.uk/partners-page
