Witch Kings Rum, an adventurous Manchester-based spirits brand, has teamed up with artisan Manchester baker, The Flat Baker to host an authentic Brazilian brunch on Saturday 20th November.
Taking place at Affinity Living Riverview, located on the riverfront by Spinningfields, from 1pm – 4pm, the Witch Kings Rum x Flat Baker Brazilian brunch will combine Brazilian cuisine, cocktails and live music to create the ultimate atmosphere.
The Flat Baker will be serving a host of authentic Brazilian specials including Pão de Queijo (Brazil’s most popular street food snack), Feijoada (pork & black bean stew) and plenty more.
Washed down perfectly with Witch Kings Rum Caipirinhas, Brazil’s national cocktail, made with cachaça, sugar, and lime. The drink is prepared by mixing the fruit and the sugar together, then adding liquor.
Providing the perfect soundtrack, there will also be live Brazilian music hosted by William Souza and special guests Pedro Oliveira & James Messaglia playing the classics of Samba, Bossa and Choros.
Places at the brunch are available to book on the Witch Kings Rum website – booking requires a £1 deposit – walk-in are welcome, but booking is advised.
The Witch Kings Rum x The Flat Baker Brazilian Brunch is part of the Witch Kings Rum Winter Bohemia Wonderland at Affinity Living Riverview, taking place from Friday 10th – Saturday 27th November.
The Winter Bohemia Wonderland pop-up will serve a hearty winter warmer menu of tasty hot pots, craft rum cocktails and serves, some of Manchester’s best mocktails, and local beers and ciders – all enjoyed to the soundtrack of live music each Friday and Saturday.
Looking to place an emphasis on collaboration within the small business community, Witch Kings Rum will also have an exciting roster of small business guests joining The Winter Bohemia Wonderland pop-up throughout its three-week run.
Witch Kings Rum will serve a full range of artistic cocktails designed around their ‘Craft Rum Liqueur’ menu, a celebration of the four unique tipples.
The Witch Kings take the finest pure single rum from Ninefold Distillery in Scotland, glimmering with rich caramel notes, and combine this with a relentless fresh fruit infusion to create a complex rum liqueur full of sweet and magical flavours;
- Antimatter – Coffee Rum Liqueur, featuring Factory Coffee Manchester
- Bohemian Dreams – Blueberry, Pineapple & Mint
- Sunset Solstice – Peach, Ginger & Lime
- Fires of the Wild – Strawberry, Chilli & Lemon
Coffee lovers can also rejoice with three decadent coffee based cocktails, The Espresso Martini; a Witch Kings take on a classic using Antimatter Coffee Rum Liqueur, Zubrowka vodka and homemade coffee syrup, Cosmic Colada; Antimatter Coffee Rum Liqueur, vodka, spiced rum, pineapple & lemon all shot into space and served Pina style, and the brand new Coffee Cuba Libre.
The true beauty of Witch Kings craft cocktails is that any cocktail can also be made into a refreshing mocktail, retaining all the same flavour and delight.
The pop-up will also feature a Witch Kings Rum bottle shop with the full range of Witch Kings Rum liqueurs available to purchase – the perfect Christmas gifts or eye-catching bottles to adorn any drinks trolley.
The Winter Bohemia Wonderland will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11am-8pm, from Friday 10th – Saturday 27th November, at Affinity Living Riverview, Spinningfields.
