Pret A Manger has revealed that for the first time, it’s much-loved croissants will be available to buy from Tesco supermarkets across the UK, marking the launch of Pret’s first ever grocery food range.

They will be in-store from 15th March, consisting of three different bestselling flavours including: Classic All Butter, Chocolate Filled and Vegan.

This builds on Pret’s expansion into consumer-packaged goods as part of the business’ transformation plan and follows its coffee-at-home range launched last summer which is now available at Amazon, Ocado, Waitrose and Sainsbury’s.

The new frozen croissants range has the same freshly-baked flakiness that customers have come to expect from the millions of croissants sold in Pret shops yearly. Six per packet and ready in under 30 minutes, the new range has something for everyone.

Inspired by the Veggie Pret favourite, the Vegan Croissant is the first frozen, bake-at-home vegan croissant available at Tesco. This one-of-a-kind croissant is made using shea butter, giving it the same buttery, flakiness as a classic croissant but with a vegan twist.

Those with a sweet tooth can enjoy the goo-ey Chocolate Filled Croissants. With a dark chocolate topping and filled with milk chocolate, these customer favourite croissants ooze chocolate when pulled apart.

Rounding off the new range is the bestselling Pret croissant, the All Butter Croissant. Buttery and flaky, this bake-at-home customer favourite can be enjoyed alongside some jam, or customers can make their own version of Pret’s much-loved savoury, filled croissants.

Clare Clough, UK Managing Director of Pret A Manger said, “With millions sold yearly, we know how much our customers love our croissants which is why I’m thrilled that we have been able to launch our new frozen range. Featuring three of our bestselling flavours, our teams have worked hard to ensure customers can get the same freshly baked taste they get in our shops, at home.

“We’re delighted to be partnering with Tesco for Pret’s first ever supermarket food range, marking an important moment in our journey to bring Pret to more people.”

The new range will be available from around 700 Tesco stores nationwide from the 15th March. As always, those looking to avoid their ovens altogether can order Pret’s Croissants, including the vegan Very Berry Croissant, for delivery from UberEats, Just Eat and Deliveroo.
