Manchester’s newest public house & grill, The Lamb of Tartary, will officially open its doors in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, with free beer to celebrate.

There will be 100 free pints from their supplier Heineken up for grabs from 5pm, to celebrate the launch of the newly refurbished and unrecognisable space on Newton Street.

Launching in the former Cottonopolis site on Newton Street, the Grade II listed building has received a fresh fit-out, to give it a new light and airy feel, with ornate panelling, exposed flooring, seated booths, and filled with leafy green plants.

The Lamb comes from the team behind the award-winning Edinburgh Castle pub in Ancoats; with a new ‘All Day Dining’ menu consisting of meats & fish from the grill and British seasonal dishes curated by award winning executive chef Shaun Moffat.

The bar will serve carefully considered cocktails, made using the best ingredients alongside 24 different beers on tap, including local favourites Manchester Union Lager and Cask Beer from Buxton Brewery and Mobberley Brewhouse.

The Lamb of Tartary officially opens the doors from 12pm, with free pints available for the first 100 through the door from 5pm.
