Monsters and crazy creatures roaming around the streets of Manchester, now this is a sight you won’t want to miss. From monster puppets to a five-piece band and stilt walkers, this is sure to get the spooky season off to an unmissable start. This roaming performance has been created by Walk the Plank, who are creative specialists behind Manchester’s Day Parade. Why not put on your best costume and join in the fun! Head down to the city centre, the Arndale and Market Street to see the spooky wonder for yourself. Will you spot your favourite creepy crawly or googly-eyed monster? 

Carnival of monsters 

Halloween wouldn’t be the same without there being monsters everywhere you look. This year on New Cathedral Street, a Carnival of Monsters awaits. A freak show that is suitable for all the family, from little ones to big kids. With a fun children’s carousel, roaming circus monsters and one thing a carnival is not complete without is a traditional helter-skelter. Scare your senses by posing for pictures with inflatable monsters, skeletons and freaky show-style posters. Get ready for a day full of fun this Halloween. 

Fancy dress challenge 

Are you ready to be the spookiest on the streets? Let your imagination run wild this Halloween and take part in the fancy dress challenge. Will you be on team trick or team treat? Whether you want to be a witch, a pumpkin, a bat, or a devil, put your creativity to the test and put on your best spooky outfit. The kids and adults will love getting dressed up and taking part in fantastic activities all weekend. What will you dress up as? 

Bongo’s bingo: Halloween special 

One for the adults now, a Bongo’s Bingo special with a twist. Who doesn’t love a game of bingo and what’s even better is this bingo is full of booze and bonkers behaviour. Bongo’s Bingo is back on the 29th and 30th of October for two special nights full of halloween fun. There are cool prizes and even cash to be won, along with cheesy singalongs, dance offs and a rave. Scare City

Now this is not one for the faint-hearted. If you want to be scared out of your mind and have a truly frightening Halloween experience, then Scare City is the place to be.
