South American dining concept, Peru Purdu, is set to ignite a glittering series of hallowed enticements for the spooky season.

From Tuesday 25th October, the Whitworth Locke rooftop will receive a monstrous takeover, as Halloween in The City makes another grand return. Look out for looming ‘Lockelin The Monster’, who will be guarding the Peru Perdu back door — where ravenous monster-hunters can pick up delicious flatbreads and hot Vimto ciders from the new Petit Perdu lunch menu.

Ringing in the season of the witch, the dazzling pink Peruvian-inspired restaurant is also set to host ‘Halloqueens’, a monster-themed bottomless drag brunch on Saturday 29th October. While fancy dress is optional, guests are encouraged to creatively express themselves through costume and clothes, as the best dressed diner is promised to take home their very own limited edition run of a Patron poster.

For £45 per person, the Halloqueens drag brunch will run from 12-4pm. Guests are due to be welcomed by the monsters and poured bottomless Chandon Garden Spritz for 90 minutes, while also enjoying two courses cooked from the open kitchen of the restaurant and music from a DJ all day.

Chandon Garden Spritz is made from award-winning Argentinian sparkling wine, while the added liqueur is handcrafted from entirely natural extracts of hand-picked orange peel, aromatic herbs and a secret mix of spices. The Halloqueens drag monsters will serve your spritz drenched over ice, with a sliver of orange and a sprig of rosemary.

On Sunday 30th October, guests of Peru Perdu can also delight in an expertly crafted South American wine list,  alongside a gorgeous Sunday roast. The exclusive Sunday menu features a choice between ‘La Brasa’ Roast Chicken, Churrasco Picanha and Cauliflower Steak — or you can also feast upon Uruguayan Wet Aged Steak. Notable Argentine Malbecs on offer include; ILÓGICO, by Agustin Lanus, 2018; BLOCK 1 by Mauricio Lorca, 2017 and RECOLETA, by Mauricio Lorca, 2021.

There will be live music from 3:30-6:00pm in the Conservatory Bar, but most importantly, you can bring your pet pooch along, as they will also receive their own complimentary dog roast (chicken or beef) when dining with their human host on Sundays.

Throughout the month of Halloween and into the festive period, guests are invited to Pisco Disco every Friday from 4-7pm, with a special offer on House Pisco Sours. Whether you believe the drink originated from Peru or Chile, a Pisco Sour is the best way to enjoy it. Even better when it’s 2~4~1 at Peru Perdu, Whitworth Locke.

Cool, laid-back dining meets quality ingredients and creative cooking at Peru Perdu, where everyone is welcome. Aesthetically adventurous, it is also the UK’s first restaurant to be painted fully in the Eaton House Studio paint collection. Adorned with hanging plants and trailing botanicals, walls are painted vibrant shades of pink, accented with a kaleidoscope of neons and pastels across soft furnishings and an abundance of textures.
