This year’s Marsden Jazz Festival runs from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th October, and tickets for the award-winning festival are now on sale.

Headliners include the all-female Crissy Lee Orchestra, re-imaginings of 70s and 80s pop hits with the Beverley Beirne Quintet, and Mercury Prize 2019 nominees SEED Ensemble.

The festival has also made it through to the final of the prestigious Parliamentary Jazz Awards in London and has been shortlisted in the Venue of the Year category.

Marsden Jazz Festival attracts thousands of visitors and takes place in 25 venues across the village including the Concert Stage where seated concerts are held; the Club Stage our dance venue; and the New Stream Stage,the place for edgy jazz. Other venues include pubs and clubs, two churches, a youth stage in the park, and an outdoor stage on a bridge over the River Colne.

Also, performances by youth groups on the Bandstand in the Park as well as events for families including the Street Parade and Band Battle, workshops with Leeds College of Music, events in Tunnel End Woods, and a gig for kids at the Mechanics.

The Market in the Park will also return to Marsden Park, featuring local arts and crafts alongside live music, as well as a new Street Food Alley by St Bartholomew’s Church, serving food and drink throughout the daytime and evening at the festival.
