Iconic city centre restaurant 20 Stories will host its annual Blackout Dinner in collaboration with Monkey 47 Gin on Sunday 30th January.

An exclusive menu has been created by 20 Stories kitchen team, with a selection of the finest wines to match chosen by Head Sommelier Ivan Milchev.

20 Stories Sales and Marketing Manager Becky Wilkes said, “Plunging our restaurant into complete darkness promises to be an unforgettable evening. Since launching the Blackout Dinner, it has been a favourite in our calendar and following a hugely successful sell out event in October, we are really looking forward to hosting what promises to be another incredible evening.”

20 Stories will turn off its lights and tables will be lit only by candlelight and the breath-taking city lights of Manchester. Guests will be welcomed from 7.30pm with a bespoke Monkey 47 Gin cocktail and will indulge in a four-course meal.

Among the culinary highlights of the Blackout Dinner Menu is a Goats’ cheese mousse, poached pear, kohlrabi, chicory and walnut plus pan-fried sea bream, Jerusalem artichoke & truffle orzo, wild mushroom, chicken, and chive butter. The main course will be an exquisite Leven Farm duck breast, beetroot, kale, spiced butter, and miso sauce. Dessert will be a Chocolate dome served with honeycomb and warm caramel sauce.

Tickets are priced at £55 per person with arrival at 7:30pm and dinner served at 8pm.
