This summer, Manchester is set to become the epicentre of skate culture as Ramp on the Roof brings Europe’s largest vert ramp to the UK for the very first time. From 30th July to 2nd August, the rooftop of Depot Mayfield will be transformed into a four-day skate event, bringing together world-class competition, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, food, music and community.

At the heart of the event stands Europe’s largest vert ramp, where visitors can witness some of the best skateboarders in the world in action, including professional X Games athlete Jimmy Wilkins. Bringing together riders from across the UK, Europe, the United States and more, Ramp on the Roof will showcase world-class skateboarding on a scale never before seen in the UK. With a £20,000 prize purse up for grabs across multiple divisions, spectators can expect four days of incredible talent, fierce competition and unforgettable moments on the ramp.

A major feature of the event will be the Skate Zone Experience, where visitors can enjoy ramps, training areas and interactive skate activities throughout the day. Learn to Skate sessions will be available for beginners, focusing on core skills, safety awareness and building confidence on a skateboard. Participants can also enjoy various ramps designed to improve their skills, while balance board training will help skaters of all levels improve coordination, stability and board control.

Beyond the action on the ramp, Ramp on the Roof will celebrate the culture, creativity and community that have made skateboarding a global phenomenon. Across the four-day event, visitors can enjoy live music, street food, entertainment and interactive experiences, creating an exciting festival atmosphere for skaters, families and spectators alike. The programme will also feature a packed schedule of skate-focused activity, including open sessions, learn-to-skate opportunities and the Friday night competition hosted by NOTE, adding even more energy to an already unforgettable weekend in the heart of Manchester.

Day tickets will be priced at £15 for adults and £10 for under 16’s with night tickets priced at £10 per person. A full weekend pass will be £35 and £25 for under 16’s.
