As the UK gears up to host the Commonwealth Games this Summer, Manchester Arndale are inviting you to compete in exciting sports challenges and a treasure hunt to win prizes.
Visit Manchester Arndale on Friday 29th July and Saturday 30th July (12-5pm) to join ‘Team Arndale’, find flags of the Commonwealth and take part in basketball, cycling and running themed challenges to win prizes, including a £100 Nando’s gift card, entry to Putters Golf at Urban Playground, and a £50 Manchester Arndale Gift Card.
Once you arrive, head to the Passport Check-in to collect your Passport, before heading off to find the 56 Commonwealth flags hidden in 14 locations across the centre and marking them in your Passport.
There’ll also be games to play along the way, suited to all abilities and perfect for kids and adults alike.
- Shooting Hoops – Play alone or compete against your friends. The goal is to shoot as many hoops as possible in the allocated time. Get those hoops, collect your flag and move onto the next game.
- Cyclextric – This one is all about the pedal power. Pedal hard to power your car forward. Complete your lap to get your flag!
- Speed and light – You’ll complete short bursts of running in between the cones…be the first to turn out your lights and claim your flag.
