A celebration of all things friendship, Galentine’s Day is Valentine’s Day’s sociable, sassy sister (and Bumble’s favourite holiday!).

Created just a few years ago in 2010 to share the love between friends, it’s now a holiday that’s becoming even more popular than its traditional counterpart. So much so that The Independent reported in 2017 that searches for ‘Galentine’s Day Ideas’ on Pinterest have seen a whipping 1780 per cent increase year-on-year.

2018 is definitely the year of the female and to celebrate the power of ‘squad goals’, female-first app, Bumble and Manchester-based La La crafts are holding a free Cupid’s Craft workshop on February 12th.

The workshop is open to both gals and guys wanting to have a great time with old pals – or meet new friends. La La Crafts – itself a strong, female partnership is made up of Amy Coney, celebrated artist and Lucy Noone, Manchester’s favourite fruit and veg supplier and food and beverage influencer.

Hosted by Bumble, BFFs Amy and Lucy will be taking guests through an evening of crafty
magic at The Pen and Pencil in the Northern Quarter to make perfect papercraft projects for the special people in your life. Guests will learn how to create beautiful handcrafted cards while meeting a whole bunch of new pals with all materials provided.

Starting at 7pm on 12th February, the free event will be at The Pen and Pencil and free tickets can be found HERE
