Bringing football home! Competition begins to find ultimate football fan to win Premier League prize

A competition has launched to find the UK’s ultimate football fan, with the winner receiving a hand painted Premier League shed worth over £1,000, decorated inside with their favourite’s teams memorabilia and a keg of beer. 

Power Sheds has created the 6x6ft shed, working with artist Maria Libik to hand paint 29 legendary moments from the history of the Premier League, providing a perfect space to watch the football and escape the distractions of everyday life.  

These moments included Sergio Aguero’s 2012 injury time title-winning goal against QPR, Wayne Rooney’s infamous overhead kick in the Manchester derby, as well as some of the more light-hearted moments, such as Delia Smith’s “where are you?!” speech on the Norwich City pitch and Kevin Keegan’s “I would love it!” rant in 1996. 

Inside the shed, Power Sheds has created the perfect space for viewing football, with memorabilia from Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Leeds United, showing just how perfect the shed could be set up to become any football fan’s dream football-viewing escape. 

Bradford based shed manufacturer, Power Sheds, is hosting the competition on its website for one lucky football fan to win the shed and have it delivered to their garden. To win, fans must submit their best fan stories and pictures, with the ‘ultimate fan’ winning the prize. The winner will receive the bespoke painted shed, worth over £1,000, plus a range of their favourite team’s merchandise, such as scarves, flags and a bean bag chair, to decorate the inside and a mini keg of beer to enjoy the first game with. 

Jack Sutcliffe, co-founder of Power Sheds, commented on the shed, “After an amazing summer of football with the England team reaching the final of Euro 2020, the whole nation has been gripped by football fever coming into the new Premier League season. In the last year, many people have bought sheds specifically to turn into a garden escape, whether that be a bar, gym or something else, that’s why we were inspired to turn one of our own sheds into the ultimate football shed. 

We’ve chosen 29 of the most iconic moments in Premier League history and had them expertly painted onto the sides, helping set the stage for the most eye-popping ‘football cave’ imaginable. We can’t wait to give it away to a lucky football fan and see it set up in their garden, ready to screen some amazing action throughout the 2021/22 season and beyond!”
