A message from We Invented the Weekend:

This is a time to be together and support our communities. So let’s do that.

We had planned a Big Sunday Roast as part of We Invented the Weekend. The festival has been postponed but the food has already been bought and food donations promised. We don’t want to risk any food waste or let down the brilliant EatWell MCR so together we have decided to go ahead with the meals this Sunday 11th.

If you’re feeling like you want to do something to put some positivity out in the world right now; if you want to be with family and friends and neighbours; if you want to support a great local not-for-profit – then you’re invited to join us for a roast this Sunday.

The ticket sales from the event will provide 50 freshly cooked meals for people who need them in Salford.

Your £30 adult ticket (£10 for kids) gets you a delicious roast and dessert cooked by Mary-Ellen McTague as well as covering your donation to EatWell MCR.

If you’d like to join us, you can get your ticket here for seatings at 12pm or 3pm.

If you can’t make the roast but would like to support EatWell MRC, you can donate here.
