Two more deaths from the Coronavirus have occurred in Greater Manchester bringing the total in the region to eight.
Both patients passed away at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust.Both had tested positive for COVID-19 and both were female, in their 80s and had underlying health conditions.
“Our thoughts and condolences remain with the patients’ families and loved ones at this difficult time.” said a spokesman for the Foundation Trust.
Thirty nine more people have died in the last twenty four hours across the UK taking the total number of deaths to 167.
