The warmer weather looks like it’s here to stay, and although the sun may not always be out, the flavours of glorious summer days can be found every day in Lisa Goodwin-Allen’s latest menu at luxury Lancashire hotel and Michelin stared restaurant, Northcote.  

The new five-course Summer tasting menu, with accompanying wine flight, taps into the season’s most celebrated ingredients, delivering on flavour with all of the artistic flair that Lisa Goodwin-Allen is known for.

Developed by Executive Chef, Lisa Goodwin-Allen, the new five-course Summer Menu comes complete with a selection of award winning wines, accumulating in the epitome of fine dining, and professional and warm Northern hospitality.

After years of meticulous research, tasting and sourcing by Northcote managing director, Craig Bancroft and his dedicated team, the dishes have been beautifully paired with grapes which take guests on a global wine tasting journey – from the south of France, to the vineyards of South Africa, mountains of Italy and beyond.

Available Wednesday to Sunday at dinner and lunch from 12 noon to 2:30pm

Summer Gourmet Menu 

  • Orkney Scallop – Isle of Wight Tomato, Basil
  • Norfolk Quail – Mushroom, Young Turnip, Bacon  
  • Chalk Steam Trout – Mussel Butter, Charred Yellow Courgette, Chervil  
  • Day Aged Lake District Beef – Smoked Marrowbone, Slow Cooked Onion, Watercress  
  • English Strawberries – Yuzu & Almond

 Priced at £95 per person, the menu can be paired with course-selected wine by the glass (£64.30) as well as the addition of The Northcote Cheeseboard (£15 or £20), comprising a selection of either five or seven cheeses from The Courtyard Dairy, served with Peter’s Yard Crackers and Homemade Bread.
