The Lowry Hotel is set to make Wednesdays a lot more delicious, indulging diners with a new bespoke Wellington dish every week at just £50 per couple.

The River Restaurant has designed a range of speciality Wellingtons, bespoke to the five-star restaurant, as well as offering special prices on matching wines.

Diners will be able to enjoy a different Wellington each week during the months of November and December, with a mouth-watering Chicken Wellington as its next offering.

A Chicken Wellington, with wild mushroom, truffle duxelle, glazed chicken wings and bacon dauphinoise.

Throughout December, the five-star hotel will also be serving a very special Christmas Wellington, which is set to make diners get in the festive spirit.

Dave Ashton, Executive Head Chef at The Lowry Hotel’s River Restaurant said, “Beef Wellington is one of my all-time favourite dishes and I wanted to take it even further with our winter menu. The new River Restaurant has a speciality in quality British dishes and I’m confident this new range will be a popular choice for diners!”

The River Restaurant recently finished its five-star renovation which saw an entire redesign of the hotel’s bar and restaurant.

The new look is being created by renowned interior designers, Goddard Littlefair, who also designed the hotel’s newly refurbished Presidential Suite and lobby areas which have a similar fluid and sophisticated look and feel.
