The London Dance Company, a carefully selected team of professional dance teachers who specialise in creating the stars of tomorrow today, are to hold a one-off workshop for dance enthusiasts at Studio 25, Manchester on 2nd December.

Not to be missed, this intensive 6-hour class will be hosted by the Founder and Creative Director of The London Dance Company, Aaron Dwyer, and will provide an opportunity for dancers in and around Manchester to receive insight from industry professionals whilst learning a variety of routines covering various dance styles including; jazz technique, musical theatre and lyrical jazz. Participants will also receive valuable, first-hand insight into audition technique, preparing them for life outside the studio.

The class will start with jazz technique – not for the faint hearted – focusing on improving flexibility, strength, turns and performance, Aaron will motivate participants and teach individuals that dancing comes from the heart and not the feet.

There will then be a Musical Theatre Dance section, in which dancers will learn choreography styled from West End and Broadway shows and receive an idea of the standard that is required to work professionally in the industry.

This section of the class will be in the style of an audition, to give experience into the structure of a professional audition whilst Aaron shares tips on how to impress London’s top casting directors.

The workshop will finish with Lyrical Jazz, a fusion of ballet and contemporary taking dancers on a musical journey and letting them connect with the meaning and philosophy of dance.

Founder, Aaron Dwyer, has worked across Europe providing workshops for both professional and non- professional dancers, he focuses on helping each individual understand their body in order to perfect technique whilst encouraging them grow as all-round performers.

Aaron Dwyer’s 6- Hour Dance Workshop’ is taking place on Sunday 2nd December from 12:00 – 18:00 at Studio 25, 25 Church Street, Manchester, M4 1PE.
