The Ivy Asia, Manchester, situated on the second floor of The Ivy Spinningfields, is excited to launch ‘Tokyo Nights’ in honour of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. From Friday, 23 July to Sunday, 8 August, guests of the restaurant will be able to immerse themselves in the spirit of Japan whilst enjoying high-octane entertainment and limited-edition cocktails created in collaboration with House of Suntory.

With futuristic, luminous and electrifying performances taking place every Thursday and Friday evening from 7pm to midnight, diners will be able to enjoy a wide selection of delicious dishes alongside a number of specially curated cocktails incorporating House of Suntory’s three key spirits: Roku Gin, Toki Whisky and Haku Vodka.

Encapsulating the vibrant and electric essence of Tokyo, limited-edition cocktails will include ‘Tokio Blues’ (£10.75), featuring Suntory Haku Vodka, Blue Curacao, hibiscus, jasmine and lemon, topped with Bottega Gold Prosecco, and the ‘Ichigo/Kosho’ (£11.75) with Suntory Roku Handmade Japanese Gin, Pink Peppercorn infused with Strawberry liqueur, Midori, Chartreuse, Mount Fuji Bitters, jasmine, lime juice and egg white. Additional spellbinding creations will include the ‘Harajuku Heaven’ (£10.75) with Suntory Roku Handmade Japanese Gin, Graham’s White Port, Myrtille Liqueur, lemongrass and citrus with Bottega Gold Prosecco and a cotton candy finish, and the ‘Neon Butterfly’ (£10.50), a complex blend of Suntory Toki Japanese Whisky, Xante Pear Cognac, Akashi-Tai Umeshu Plum Sake, peach bitters, raspberry and Butterfly Pea extract.
