A flurry of frozen fun is coming to Cathedral Gardens this November with the return of Skate Manchester.

Between 1st November to 3rd January 2022 Skate Manchester, located at Cathedral Gardens, offers an enchanting atmosphere for couples, families and groups looking for festive fun whilst protecting visitors from all the elements with a spectacular covered ice-rink.

Committed to an industry Gold Standard of care for visitors, this year’s venue will be nearly double the size of previous years with a reduced daily capacity, meaning more space for skating, more fun and even more memories to be made.

Skate Manchester marks the second round of celebrations at Cathedral Gardens after hosting Scare Skate from 22nd October to 31st October, which saw ghosts and ghoul’s takeover the Spooktacular rink in celebration of Halloween.

Rob Derry, ice director at Arena, which coordinates the event, says: “We’ve gone all out to ensure Skate Manchester is a celebration of winter 2021 to remember. After last year’s lockdown Christmas period and off the back of the huge success of Scare Skate 2021, we’re excited to be bringing in Christmas 2021 in true family festive spirit!

Whether it’s in-door or outdoor, we’re prepared for all the elements meaning a magical experience can be created for all, no matter the weather!”

Tickets for Skate Manchester are available now, with prices starting at £13 for adults and £11 for children, with discounted family and season tickets also available. For more information and to book tickets, visit https://skatemanchester.com/.
