Six people were arrested following door-smashing warrants in Oldham this morning (30 July) as part of work tackling the importation of drugs into the area.
Four men and one woman, aged between 18 to 32, have been arrested on suspicion of the importation and supply of drugs in Oldham. A 26-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. All remain in custody for questioning.
Officers arrived at five separate addresses to execute the early morning arrest warrants and found suspected class B drugs, in addition to dangerous weapons, including a crossbow and machete.
Phones and other items were additionally seized as part of the work.
The action comes on the back of intelligence gathered regarding the importation, supply, and distribution of drugs throughout the Derker and wider Oldham area.
