A child has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car on Huddersfield Road in Oldham this afternoon.
Greater Manchester Police were called to the scene of a collision at around 12.35pm on following reports of a crash between a vehicle and a child.
Officers say the child was taken to hospital for treatment. The driver of the car remained at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.
No arrests have been made at this stage and investigations are ongoing.
