A motorcyclist has died in hospital today after being hit by a car in Wythenshawe last night
The collision occurred on Southmoor Road
Police say a white Peugeot E-5008 had been travelling on Southmoor Road in the direction of Altrincham Road, intending to turn right onto Floatshall Road.
As the Peugeot turned, it collided with the rider of a Peugeot Speedflight scooter. The rider of the scooter suffered serious injuries.
The man in his 20’s riding the scooter passed away in hospital today as a result of his injuries.
A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving; he has since been released on bail.
