Sale Sharks youngster Sam Moore’s impressive season has been recognised by England with head coach Eddie Jones selecting the 19-year-old in a 32-man squad for a London training camp.

As part of the fallow week during the Six Nations campaign, England will train against the Georgian national side for two days on Tuesday and Wednesday before staging an open training session at Twickenham on Friday.

Sam’s selection comes hard on the heels of two successive appearances for England’s Under-20s side with the Red Rose starlets having beaten Italy and Wales in their opening two Under-20s Six Nations appearances.

The back-row star, who made his senior debut for the Sharks last October away in Lyon, has been named as an apprentice in the squad along with fellow teenagers Marcus Smith and Gabriel Ibitoye, both of Harlequins.

Sam’s Sharks team-mate Denny Solomona has also been named in the squad.
