“Sait Mboob was a young man with his whole life ahead of him. His attackers came armed with knives and machetes and their aim was to do some serious harm to anyone that they saw as a threat.

“Yesterday we made a further arrest in this investigation, which clearly demonstrates that just because today five men and two boys have been sentenced for Sait Mboob’s murder, we will not stop until we believe that everyone responsible has been brought to justice.

“I would like to thank Sait’s family for their patience, so far this has been an incredibly long process and they have shown unbelievable strength. Sait will live on in the memories of his family and friends and I can only hope that today’s sentences go some way to helping them heal from his tragic death.”
