It’s the tail end of the 1980s, and small town girl Sherrie meets city boy Drew on Hollywood’s Sunset Strip. But their rock’n’roll romance is interrupted when German developers sweep into town with plans to turn the Strip into a shopping mall.

Can Sherri, Drew and their friends save the day? Only the heart-pounding hits of eighties rock legends Styx, Journey, Bon Jovi, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Steve Perry, Poison and Europe hold the answer.

First seen in Los Angeles in 2005, Rock of Ages has been a hit on Broadway and in London’s West End. This production by PADOS Youth Theatre uses the High School Edition of the show, which is more appropriate for younger casts and audiences.

Tickets start at £11 and are still available for all performances. To book, just visit themet.org.uk or call 0161 761 2216.

The show runs from the 7th to the 10th March
