Dippy On Tour will be reopening to visitors on Monday, 7 September 2020, with special safety measures in place, following a temporary closure in light of the public health situation.

Dippy On Tour was originally due to close in Rochdale on 28 June 2020, but the tour dates have now been amended following discussions with the Natural History Museum and Norwich cathedral, the last stop on Dippy’s UK tour.

The Dippy Exhibition at Touchstones Rochdale will also reopen on Monday, 7 September 2020. Visitors can opt for a self-guided experience or the brand new narrated guided tour, which is particularly suited to those with young children. Throughout this tour, visitors will be guided by a team of ‘scientists’ who have travelled back in time to gather information about the past to help create a better future with the help of the audience.

Dippy at Number One Riverside and the accompanying exhibition at Touchstones Rochdale will remain open to visitors in Rochdale until Saturday, 12 December 2020. The entire experience is free of charge.

Visitors won’t need to book to be see Dippy at Number One Riverside, although there may be a queue.
