Manchester’s biggest Cuban cocktail bar, Revolución De Cuba, is set to bring the world’s finest cocktails and tastiest rums, along with the funkiest Latin vibes, to the Great Northern square from Monday April 12th.

The restaurant, located on the much-loved Peter Street, has teamed up with Great Northern to welcome the new drinks pop-up airstream caravan, ‘The Daiq Shack’, to the square on Deansgate,

The pop-up venue will open Covid-safely on April 12th – with parasols and seating area for groups of up to six available.

The drinks caravan has partnered with Havana Club to offer a wide selection of the Latin restaurant’s most loved alcoholic beverages including Mojitos, Pina Coladas and of course the famous frozen Strawberry Daiquiri, helping Manchester locals enjoy the brighter weather safely and easily this summer.

If alcohol isn’t your thing, don’t worry, as the ‘Daiq Shack’ will also be offering a variety of non-alcoholic drinks including the Virgin Zombie Slayer & a light refreshing Caleno & Tonic.

Clint Ghent, Revolución de Cuba’s Operations Director said, “We’re very excited to be working with Great Northern next month to offer the people of Manchester the full Latin experience they’ve all really missed this summer.

This is the fiesta we’ve all been waiting for and with our tenth-year anniversary of officially opening landing on April 1st, we’re ready to raise a glass and say thank you to the people of Manchester for supporting us for a decade!”

Speaking of the collaboration, Mark Schofield, Centre Director for Great Northern said, “The team at Great Northern are really pleased to welcome such an iconic brand to the family.

As Government restrictions only allow restaurants with available seating areas to open in April, we’re happy to offer one of our neighbours on Peter Street the chance to open up and serve the locals of Manchester safely.”
