The thirty year sentence given to the Manchester student Reynhard Sinaga could be increased according to reports today.

Siniga was described as Britain’s “most prolific rapist”, and jailed for life with a minimum of 30 years after being found guilty of the rape of forty eight men after drugging them at his flat in the City Centre.

The request was made by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and Attorney General Geoffrey Cox QC has 28 days from the date of sentence in which to make a decision reports the Guardian

The Attorney General is due to make a decision about whether to send the case to the Court of Appeal by 3rd February.
