Specialist education training firm, QA Consulting Services Ltd. has taken 12,370 sq ft at the newly refurbished Anchorage development in Salford Quays.

Taking the whole of the 7th floor of Anchorage 2, QA has agreed a 10-year lease with a five-year break.

As part of the wider programme of regeneration at Anchorage, the 7th floor of the central office building, Anchorage 2, is now being comprehensively refurbished ready for QA to move its 30 team members and 168 learners to its new office space in the new year. The team will also be able to enjoy the new facilities available in the renovated atrium at Anchorage 2 which boasts stylish interior design and has been reconfigured to include collaborative workspaces, break out areas and The Quays café.

An exercise and wellbeing studio has also been incorporated into the ground floor, as well as new shower and changing facilities, and Amazon delivery lockers in response to a greater demand for flexibility and spaces that reflect tenant lifestyles.

Ian Murray, director at Canmoor, said: “With a need to grow its office, QA had been considering a new base for some time, but after reviewing several very competitive proposals, Anchorage was selected as the best fit for their team. QA knows that it’s getting a best in class space in a well-connected location, which is so important for employees.

“The refurbishment of Anchorage, which is ongoing and has completely transformed the look and feel of the ground floor at Anchorage 2, has played a significant role in retaining our existing occupiers and attracting new ones too. We are looking forward to welcoming QA to its new office in the New Year.”

Stuart Martin, managing director at QA Consulting Services, said: “QA recruit, train and certify high potential early career professionals in areas such as cloud, DevOps and software development, before deploying them as project ready consultants into customers.

“We are delighted to be moving our Academy to the newly refurbished Anchorage 2 development in the new year. Transforming the lives and careers of our consultants is what motivates and inspires us. The new development will provide an inspirational learning environment for our consultants to fulfil their potential and power the future success of our customers.”

Canning O’Neill acted on behalf of QA, commenting on the deal, Mark Canning, said: “With the completion of the upgrading works to the atrium reception area and business lounge in Anchorage 2, the proposition became much more attractive to QA.”
