More than 200 exclusive offers will be available for Manchester bound students next week at student shopping extravaganza by MCR Student Social.

The annual Autumn event, organised by Manchester’s Business Improvement District
(Manchester BID) in partnership with Manchester Arndale, returns on Tuesday 24
September, with students able to enjoy more offers than ever before and a whole host of
free entertainment and fun along Market Street and at Manchester Arndale.

Manchester city centre stores offering the biggest discounts on the night include 40% off at
GAP plus free tote bags, 30% off at Levi’s, Fossil, Lovisa and Claire’s and 25% off at The
Body Shop, Jack Wills and Framed Opticians. Plus there’s 20% off at a whole host of high
street and designer fashion stores including Accessorize, Adidas, All Saints, Ann Summers,
Boux Avenue, Burton, Cath Kidston, Clarks, DKNY, Ecco, Evans, Footasylum, French
Connection, G-Star Raw, H&M, JD, Lipsy, Luke, Michael Kors (£250 minimum spend),
Monki, New Look, Oasis (£30 minimum spend), Office, River Island and Ted Baker.

At the city’s department stores, Selfridges Manchester Exchange is hosting a night of
extraordinary experiences and exclusive discounts and offers, Harvey Nichols is offering an
exclusive 10% discount, live DJ sets and complimentary drinks while Debenhams will be
showcasing the latest hair, beauty and fashion trends on its Masterclass Stage, alongside beauty demonstrations and tutorials across the store, gifts with purchase, games, giveaways live music and 20% off purchases. For the best beauty buys, students can bag 15% off at The Fragrance Shop and The Perfume Shop and 10% off at Paul’s Hair & Beauty World, Superdrug and Boots (with an advantagecard). City centre restaurants and bars will also be serving up exclusive discounts for students on
the night including 99p burritos at Barburitto, 50% off classic pizza and pasta dishes at Bella Italia, 50% off at Wolf Italian Street Food, 40% off at Pizza Hut and 30% off at Mrs Sarah’s Chophouse, Sam’s Chophouse and McDonald’s (on extra value meals). There’s also 20% off at Gino D’Acampo’s My Pizza and Prosecco Bar and lots more offers at a whole host of eateries across the city including Boost Juice Bar, Bobo Tea, Chopstix Noodle Bar, Café

In collaboration with some of the city’s favourite brands and venues, MCR Student Social will be hosting a fun-filled line-up of entertainment on Market Street and at Manchester Arndale from 12-7pm, including a roaming band and a mini festival courtesy of this year’s sponsors TOTUM with DJs, cash prizes, competitions, giveaways, glitter and more outside Urban Outfitters.

On Market Street, students can win facial treatments and prizes with Kiehls’ ‘Spin the

Students can test their putting skills at Treetop Adventure Golf’s Hole in One Challenge to

MCR Student Social Fair on Market Street is back and will be welcoming students with

David Allinson, Centre Director at Manchester Arndale, said: “Thousands of shoppers joined
us for our last MCR Student Social event, which was extended to offer eight hours of
bargains and live entertainment. We expect the September event to be even bigger with
