Nell’s NY Pizza & Bar has a brand new drinks menu at their orange pizza palace at Kampus, their iconic NQ venue Common and at Chorlton favourite, The Beagle – and they’re throwing a party to celebrate.

On Saturday 8th April from 8pm, Nell’s at Kampus will launch their new Saturday night event HOT TAKE, with Joy Social on the decks. Tamer and Dai aka Joy Social are the Manchester based DJ duo known for their exciting sets that easily span Boogie, Disco, House, and UK Garage. They formed as a collective over 10 years ago, and since have held down regular residencies throughout Manchester at the likes of Ramona, The Refuge, Escape To Freight Island, Cottonopolis and many more. As far as club nights and festivals go, the pair have played for Percolate, High Hoops, On Loop, La Discotheque and The Warehouse Project, Parklife and Boogietown to name a few, including Honey Dijon, Kerri Chandler, Floating Points, Antal, Hunee, Home Meat Disco, San Proper, Moxie, Josey Rebelle, Wes Baggaley and Shanti Celeste and a whole heap more.

Nell’s will be slinging out some free samples of their new drinks menu and will introduce their brand new WEEKEND Happy Hour. With cocktails at £6 and shots at £2.50 from 8pm TIL CLOSE, it’s the perfect opportunity to get involved with new items on the menu such as the Pink Grapefruit Marg, a frozen slushie dream combo of Olmeca Tequila, grapefruit and hibiscus; or maybe a classic NY Sour; Makers Mark and lemon with a red wine float.

Picks from the new shot menu include a Lemon and Basil drop giving big summer vibes, Picklebacks are in there just doing their sour thing, whilst a Wray and Slay does exactly what it says on the, er glass.

HOT TAKE, the new Saturday night at Nell’s NY Pizza & Bar will feature a rotation of DJ’s and acts in collaboration with Manchester based music agency GigPig, supporting some of the best talent in the UK.

If that’s not enough, for one weekend only, they’ve launched a special pizza with all proceeds going to the incredible Coffee4Craig. The Spring Fling is a riot of pea, burnt spring onion and miso cream base with chicken and peas topped with lime pickled red onion, parmesan and miso basil pesto mayo. Priced at £3 and available in 22’’ slice format this is a one weekend wonder and will be replaced with a new special in April.

Tables can be booked HERE for the Kampus Easter event from 8pm and are yours for the evening.
