Rising Manchester star, Joel Rothwell, is currently experiencing great success with his music.

Having recently been personally invited to perform at an event hosted by RJ Gibb, the son of Bee Gees Legend Robin Gibb, as well as being offered a slot on the stage of the prestigious Troubadour, London.

Now, after his own struggles with bullying during his time in education, the singer wants to make a change and is due to embark on a tour of secondary schools throughout Manchester in November.

Joel decided to do this to make sure others have guidance that he did not. Manchester’s previous struggles with unsuccessful bullying prevention in schools are well documented, and the music artist is aiming to highlight these issues and inspire youngsters to help stop bullying in their school and show them how he turned his life around.

After Joel’s own issues forced him to leave his school, he wants others to know there are people you can speak to, “Bullying can affect anyone, no matter what age. So, no matter what age you are, don’t be afraid of speaking out”.
