Manchester restaurant, Mamucium has unveiled a brand-new weekly steak night, Steaks at Mamucium, launching on Tuesday 17th September, with special guest, Manchester’s favourite butcher, Lee Horsley Frost (aka Frosty).
Taking place every Tuesday, Steaks at Mamucium will serve top quality cuts of beef at special prices, paired with carefully selected wines.
Mamucium’s beef is reared and sourced locally by award-winning Manchester butcher, Lee Horsley Frost (aka Frosty). Before it arrives at Mamucium, the beef is aged on the bone for 28 days. Frosty is passionate about his produce, and his tried and tested method results in an increased flavour profile and tenderness.
Steaks at Mamuicum will serve a variety of sensational steaks for guests to enjoy, all at exceptionally reasonable prices. From 8oz beef rump for £8.95, to 8oz hanger steak for £12.95, 8oz sirloin for, 10oz rib eye from £20.95 and 5oz beef fillet for £22.95.
Those looking to share can indulge in the 800g Tomahawk steak for £49.50, or the signature Mamucium 100z Beef Wellington for £59.95.
All dishes served on the evening are cooked to order and to guests’ preference – all served with baby watercress, wild mushrooms and charred plum vine tomatoes. Additional sauces are priced at £1.50 each with the option of béarnaise, peppercorn, red wine jus, Diane and bacon & blue cheese.
A range of tempting starters are also available, including Lancashire onion soup, pressed Goosnargh chicken terrine, authentic Italian soft burrata, chargrilled asparagus, sun-blushed tomato and asparagus salad and lobster macaroni cheese.
A good steak is best finished off with dessert, with guests able to enjoy a variety of sweet treats, including milk chocolate torte, Mamucium Manchester tart, salted caramel custard tart and peach parfait, or those looking for something more savoury can choose the selection of regional cheeses.
