I woke up very early and couldn’t sleep so did some internet shopping as my underwear is looking a bit grey and it’ll help me feel 21 for a bit longer. You think I’m joking after yesterday but I’m not!
YAY – I’ve lost 0.5lb so I’m just 1lb away from losing 4 stone. I could tell it was going to be a good day as I got my hair to work how I wanted it for the first time ever. I hate to say it but I LOVE my Dyson air wrap even though it is clearly designed by blokes who had a few random bits of Hoover left on the factory floor so stuck them together for the little women to use.
Oh, dear, the ordered PPE from Turkey apparently isn’t up to scratch and the people on the TV are being all “are you going to resign” about it and going on about how they can’t believe it’s not been check before it was shipped. Surely they don’t check orders before they leave the warehouse, do they? Isn’t just like a very large Amazon order so you check it after delivery?
Fortunately, they have checked it which means that none of our NHS colleagues will be wearing substandard equipment. Surely that’s the positive story?
I had a busy but good day in work and the weather was glorious again but rainy in the middle. The noise from the conservatory roof was ridiculously loud but the storm passed very quickly so my ears were saved.
Before you know it, the chores were done, the food from the Sainsbury’s man was put away and it was vodka time. CHEERS!
My Parallel Universe: 5pm hairdressers appointments to sort out my roots – if only! They look a holy show!
My List: Watched the very clever and funny Code 404; Friday night dinner; we had an exciting 8 minute countdown to Brassic – it didn’t disappoint; & Modern Family (obvs!)
My Lowlight: Oh dear – I’m on the slippery slope and have ordered a few things from Next and M & S. I feel guilty but I’ve not bought anything for SIMPLY AGES. Well, it’s all relative!
My Highlight: Oh bloody brilliant, my drunky monkey crystal glasses have arrived. Ok, so they don’t match the other 2 that I bought the other week (oopsy!) but it’s fabulous to have 6 beautiful matching wine glasses. Dave is not allowed ANYWHERE near them. I gave the chap some very positive feedback and he told me they don’t make this particular type anymore and so I need to be very careful with them. How sweet – it was like buying something from my parents!
My Anxiety Level: Yup, still Low.
Brilliant – it’s Friday tomorrow and an extra bank holiday. We’ve nothing planned other than chilling. Come on Day 46 and please bring the sun with you!
