On Friday 19th October, Levenshulme Market is throwing a Pumpkin Party for its next night market.
The night market will be a seasonal celebration, plus pre-Halloween fun! The humble pumpkin will be the star of the show, with a pumpkin carving competition, squash-themed street food specials and lots more.

Marketgoers are invited to carve their most creative pumpkin, bringing it along for the chance to win a £20 voucher to spend at the market on any date from now until the end of the year. Look out for the candle-lit pumpkin display at the market!

More than 12 of Manchester’s best street food traders will be battling it out, Great British Menu style, to create the best pumpkin or squash special to add to their usual menus.

Confirmed so far is a Thai pumpkin and chicken red curry from Issan Friends Thai Food and vegan pumpkin and sweet potato samosas from Perfect Samosa. MFDF Best Street Food Award 2017 nominee Blue Caribou Canteen will have pumpkin spiced maple butter fries with marshmallow foam on the menu for those with a sweet tooth.

Joining the incredible street food line up for the night market is Fat Annie’s Hot Dogs, Manzoku, What’s Your Beef, Wrapscallion and Halloumination, plus another MFDF Best Street Food Award 2017 nominee The Ottomen.

The kids are encouraged to dress up and enjoy throwing some tiny shapes to spooky disco tunes on the Halloween dance floor, and there’ll be an expert face painter on hand to create terrifying looks.

The Levy Market pop-up bar will be serving the thirsty crowds with a brilliant selection of beer and ale, plus wine, prosecco, cocktails and spirits.

Alongside the incredible food and drink on offer will be a selection of artisan and handmade stalls including BubbleOff Skincare, local silversmith Chiron Designs, By Nikomi cards and prints, Buxton Brewery bottles and In Truffle We Trust chocolates. Perfect for some Friday night shopping!

It all happens on the Levenshulme Train Station Car Park (M19 3AB) from 5-9pm.
