Manchester bar, kitchen and live music venue, YES, has launched a new Greek street food offering and a summer drinks menu to bring spectacular summer flavours across all four floors.

The popular Manchester spot, located on Charles Street off Oxford Road, has created “We Can Be Gyros” a new Mediterranean hot spot offering sensational grills, pitta bread, wraps and platters. Lunchtime deals will also be on offer at heroic prices. From 12PM-3PM, guests can choose from any of the four gyros options and seasoned skin of fries for £8.95. Those dining from 3PM can snag this budget-busting deal for just £10.95. Gyros will be joining Neapolitan pizza specialists Pepperoni Playboy as YES’ newest street food residents.

The menu at We Can Be Gyros  includes Live.Lamb.Love the classic lamb kebab with added heat. Smashed lamb of beef kofta is served with seasoned fries, honey mustard sauce, tomato, pickled red onion, scotch bonnet mayo sauce and pickled red cabbage, all piled high on either a pitta bread or gluten free wrap.

For those wanting to keep it classic, there’s The OG. Spicy sizzled chicken gyros wrapped up alongside honey mustard sauce, seasoned fries, tomato, red onion, crumbled feta cheese and smoked garlic aioli.

Karen From Accounts combines golden halloumi with deep fried courgette ribbon, seasoned fries, tomato, pickled chillies and zesty sour cream and Korean BBQ sauce.

Last but not least is plant-based odyssey Lady Stardust, a killer combo of vegan chick’n gyros, seasoned fries, tomato, rainbow coleslaw, pickled red onion, and sriracha vegan mayo.

We Can Be Gyros’ have also launched two sharing platter options to give mates dates a booster. Double up on your chicken gyros with The OG Overloaded (chicken gyros, seasoned fries, rainbow slaw, crumbled feta, honey mustard, smoked aioli sauce), or activate your plant-based power with The Cosmos (vegan chick’n gyros, seasoned fries, tomato, rainbow coleslaw, pickled red onion, and sriracha vegan mayo).
