London’s favourite Greek street food brand The Athenian, which on Wednesday 10th June will launch a Deliveroo Editions kitchen, offering online deliveries of fresh, high-quality Greek fare to customers in Manchester for the first time.
The Athenian’s simple, fresh menu features mouth-watering Souvlaki and Gyros, as well as modern twists on specialities such as feta and courgette fritters and halloumi fries. The Athenian’s popular Souvlaki is the perfect combination of soft, handmade pita wrapped around lightly chargrilled meat or cheese which has been marinated in olive oil, lemon and Greek herbs, all served with an array of salads and sauces.
The Athenian is taking daily measures to ensure they continue to trade in a safe environment in the current climate, with the health and wellbeing of their staff remaining a top priority. Working closely with Deliveroo will allow The Athenian to feed those still in isolation, encouraging social distancing and keeping staff in work, maintaining company morale.
As a gesture of appreciation for all their hard work during the outbreak of Coronavirus, The Athenian are offering all NHS staff 50% off their menu. As a street food concept, The Athenian offers speedy takeaway lunches, and is available for delivery via Deliveroo for anyone needing lunch to come to them
