Rum And Chocolate Masterclass

Those who love rum as much as they love chocolate, are in for a treat! Warm up for all that Easter chocolate eating by joining in the rum and chocolate masterclass at The Pen and Pencil.

They are teaming up with Santa Teresa and Cocoa Cabana chocolatiers for an evening of rum cocktail drinking, tasting and truffle making.

Tickets are just £10 which include:

  • Santa Teresa cocktail on arrival

  • Rum and chocolate tasters (someone’s gotta do it)

  • Make your own rum truffles with Cocoa Cabana

Disco Bottomless Brunch

An event not to be missed, this Easter The Pen & Pencil are hosting a one-off Disco Bottomless Brunch on Easter Sunday from 2pm! With a grand total of seven dishes on offer, as well as five breakfast drinks to choose from, the Bottomless Brunch is sure to be a game changer for any breakfast connoisseur. With a little help from Social Services DJs and glitter make up artists at hand, you’ll be grooving your day away.

Easter Bank Holiday – Mad Mats

This Easter The Pen & Pencil welcome Mad Mats to the Northern Quarter, flying in all the way from Sweden. With an extensive list of records; Local Talk, GAMM, Basic Fingers, Raw Fusion… With this wild cocktail of music styles, he became one of the most respected DJs in the world. His legendary Raw Fusion party in Stockholm was a mirror of his own musical references (100% musical freedom) and went strong for over 13 years with guest DJs like Theo Parrish, Jay Dilla, Jungle Brothers, Carl Craig, DJ Harvey, Gilles Peterson, Laurent Garnier, and Kerri Chandler to name just a few. Supported by their Resident spinners A Deeper Groove musically they could literally go anywhere.
