Ducie Street Warehouse holds a new future: the collective space on the ground floor of the Grade II listed former Victorian warehouse will reveal a new urban South-facing terrace for relaxed all day dining and drinking – a place to bring people together again – opening on Monday 12 th April.

Native Manchester at Ducie Street Warehouse, the UK’s largest aparthotel, will
also reopen on the same day for all stays, be it leisure or business. It’s one of the only
places in Manchester to offer leisure staycations from April – with large self-contained luxury apartments offering a truly home from home stay.

The eclectic 24/7 space is home to the new 80 cover terrace and 80 cover restaurant – an
all-day kitchen headed up by Manchester-born chef Andrew Green; a bar and lounge that’s
a place for work, play and everything in between; Counter – the in-house deli and
takeaway coffee concept; three meeting rooms and a 36-seat mini cinema.

Towering above with its cast-iron columns and exposed brickwork is the award-winning Native Manchester aparthotel, with all the benefits of apartment living coupled with the service and flexibility of a hotel. Independent fitness studio BLOK also features in the fabric of this original space, delivering a world class fitness experience.

Ducie Street Warehouse is a place for all people, a place to socially inhabit and a
place to make it what they will. The new heated, and covered terrace will open daily for that first sip of tea, to that last cocktail; an all-day bar & kitchen where socialising is the order of the day.

The terrace menu will serve a preview selection of dishes from the new All Day Dining menu, of food that’s great to share, including signature Focaccia Romania flatbreads, small sharers and large plates.

On Monday 17th May the true vision of the entire building will come alive, when everything
will be open and its indoor experience will be revealed, an offering of food, drink, entertainment, resident DJs and a collection of curated takeovers across sounds, inspired
arts and cultural pop-ups.

The first collaboration at Ducie Street Warehouse will launch in April, with ‘20k and a dead sheep,’ the independent Manchester based online shop selling zines, books and rare editions, which is ran by renowned DJs and selectors within the Manchester scene. The 20k and a dead sheep collab will see the curation of a retail pop-up space and DJ takeover every weekend, from Saturday 17 th April until the end of May.

Mark Clinton F&B Ops Director at Ducie Street Warehouse said, “The outdoor terrace is the first part of the new beginning of Ducie Street Warehouse and will really set the scene for our new direction. The welcoming, vibe of this amazing building will start to be felt from April when we launch the terrace, and more so from May when we launch the indoor curation projects and reveal the plans and changes we’ve made to this iconic space. This is a place like no other in Manchester, a place to embrace and make it what you will – and we just can’t wait to finally, share it with the city.”

Native Manchester at Ducie Street Warehouse is a place to unwind or unleash, a place to wake up or be awakened – keeping it original, Native Manchester combines the freedom of luxury apartments with the comfort and convenience of a boutique hotel, providing an unforgettable stay.

The award-winning aparthotel features 166 individually designed apartments, including
studios, loft apartments and eight duplex penthouses with private terraces offering
panoramic views across the city.

The building’s industrial heritage is prominent throughout Native, from the vast glass central atrium that’s suspended above Ducie Street Warehouse and connects the apartments, to the interiors of the apartments themselves – each one unique, featuring a fully equipped kitchen, bespoke Conran furniture and super king-size beds.

The terrace will open from Monday 12th April, from 11am-10pm, Monday – Thursday, 11am-11pm Friday, 9am-11pm Saturday, and 9am – 10pm Sunday.

Bookings will go live soon, keep an eye on our social channels for details.

Counter will open 8am-5pm daily, for hand crafted coffees, fresh baked pastries, hot and cold food prepared fresh in house daily, and a selection of beers, natural wines and canned cocktails – all to take out or take to your Native apartment. To stay at Native Manchester
