The world’s first luxury pop-up hotel is set to be constructed right in the heart of Cheshire later this summer.
Top hotel site LateRooms.com and the world leaders obstacle events, Tough Mudder, have joined forces to bring the 5-star style outdoor ‘Al Fresco Hotel’ to an exclusive site, reputed to have one of the prettiest views of Cheshire’s rolling hills.
The annual Tough Mudder event is hosted at Cheshire’s Cholmondeley Castle and regularly attracts over 10,000 participants.
Entrants, known as Mudders, take part running through mud-soaked obstacles while getting fit, having fun and raising funds for charities too.
This year’s Cheshire event takes place on 7 and 8 September in the grounds of the castle. However, in a once in a lifetime opportunity, following taking part a group of up to six Tough Mudders will be chauffeur driven to the exclusive ‘Al Fresco Hotel’site just minutes away, for the ultimate in post-event pampering.
A creative construction crew hired by Manchester-based LateRooms.com will magically transform a private field just minutes from Cholmondeley Castle into the world’s first ever pop-up luxury hotel & spa – taking glamping to another level.
On arrival, the winning group will be treated like VIPs complete with red, or rather LateRoom’s famous purple carpet, and will be greeted by the pop-up hotel’s butler for 24-hours of pure indulgence!
They will be welcomed with custom-made cocktails – Muddy Mary, anyone? The group will then check in to the Al Fresco’s real-life hotel reception, where they will be issued with room keys that open the doors to three luxury barns.
The ensuite accommodation includes every comfort a mud-soaked Mudder, pro or newbie, could wish for – power showers, Egyptian cotton sheets, and even a star gazing window.
The winners can then enjoy limitless indulgences at the Al Fresco Hotel lounge, with a specially constructed spa with two onsite masseuses where they can enjoy a sports massage, pedicure or even a curly blow-dry.
