Progress Wrestling – Chapter 96: True Friends Stab You In The Front will take place on Sunday (13th) at the o2 Ritz. Progress Wrestling is a British professional wrestling promotion that was established in 2011.

Two events will take place the o2 Apollo this weekend. Friday (11th) will see Roy Orbison & Buddy Holly: The Hologram UK Tour take place. Sunday (13thDaniel Caesar, who is an R&B artist, will be performing.

A firm favourite in Manchester’s cultural calendar, the Manchester Art Fair and The Manchester Contemporary weekend takes place at Manchester Central Convention Centre all weekend.

Sport

Manchester City Women will be playing on Saturday (12th) against Birmingham City Women at 14:00.

Rochdale will be looking to get back winning ways in League One when they host Accrington Stanley this Saturday at 15:00.

In League Two Salford City will take on Cambridge United, with kick-off taking place at 15:00.

Manchester Storm will take to the ice on Saturday at 19:00 when they face Coventry Blaze.

Theatre

Award-winning Breach Theatre bring their new show, It’s True, It’s True, It’s True, a court-room drama based on the case of the rape of 17th-century Baroque painter Artemisia Gentileschi, to HOME Manchester on Friday and Saturday (11th & 12th). More information available here.

The Palace Theatre will be hosting the LOL Comedy Club bringing the best stand up comedians to Manchester. The show will run on the 12th.

Manchester Opera House will be showing & Juliet – join Juliet on this sensational journey of self-discovery and second chances. Tickets available for Friday and Saturday (11th & 12th)
