Mottram Hall, the award-winning golf resort in Cheshire,  is inviting golfers to experience its new QFairway club – the country’s most flexible golf membership, which gives up to 50 rounds of golf from as little as £375, plus access to 14 other courses.

Following on from the success of previous initiatives, which existing members will transfer across to, the forward-thinking group is offering golfers young and old the chance to experience a range of benefits with its new innovative membership programme.

QHotels is part of the AA Hotel Group of the Year – which includes such prestigious venues as The Carrick at Cameron House in its portfolio – and Mottram Hall believes QFairway ushers in a new era of membership designed by and for the 21st century golfer.

The new scheme will prove particularly attractive for those who are short of time, yet looking to rekindle their passion for the sport while enjoying all the benefits of a traditional golf club membership.  And Mottram Hall members are spoilt for choice, with QFairway offering access to another QHotel venue within a short drive – Telford Hotel & Golf Resort in Telford – and nine others across the UK.

Mottram Hall’s director of golf, Jonny Chaisty, said: “Points-based flexible memberships are not new but we believe QFairway takes the concept to a new level, because, with 11 hotels and 15 excellent golf courses – and the ability to allocate points to elements other than just golf – this is the most widely beneficial membership available on the market.

“QFairway effectively offers a bespoke membership for each individual. Whether you play once a week, once a month, or even require a corporate membership, there will be a points level to suit you. If you start playing more, topping up the points is quick and easy to do – and it comes with all the features members enjoy elsewhere but without the often extortionate fees levied by their clubs.”

The QFairway flexible points-based membership gives golfers all the benefits of a traditional club membership – including the facility to hold a handicap and playing rights for club competitions. It also offers discount on food and drink, shop purchases, tuition, hotel bed-and-breakfast rates, and, most impressively, access to all of QHotels’ 15 golf courses.

Points may be used for golf, leisure club and spa facilities (where applicable), the driving range and even on buggy hire – all whenever and wherever the member requires. What’s more, unlike traditional golf club memberships, there is no joining fee, meaning that for a relatively small outlay keen nomadic golfers can now achieve their dream of belonging to a club, with all the friendly social benefits that entails.

The multi-award-winning, four-star QHotels collection offers championship-standard courses in unique resort locations – and now it also provides the perfect membership package for all golfers.

Set in 270 acres of Cheshire’s finest parkland, located one mile from the picturesque village of Prestbury, Mottram Hall was the host venue for the 2013 European Seniors PGA Championship.

The 7,006 yard, par-72 Championship Course, comprising of magnificent parkland fairways dotted with oak and beech trees and tricky, well-guarded greens, is broken up into two contrasting circuits of nine. The front nine, with its impressive backdrop of the 18th century hall, gently rolls over meadowland and offers the golfer many chances to make a score. The back nine winds through some lush woodland and is a much more demanding test of golf.

The Championship Course is open all year round and welcomes golfers of all abilities, whether you’re looking for membership, society days, corporate days and more. And, as part of a £1.5m refurbishment programme, Mottram Hall has recently added to its impressive facilities by opening a new clubhouse, Claret Jug restaurant and halfway house.
