A man is fighting for his life after a hit and run incident in Newton Heath on Friday night.
The 53-year-old man was taken to Salford Royal Hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in a critical condition after being hit by a car on Briscoe Lane around 10pm.
The car was a 2017 grey coloured Vauxhall heading in the direction of Alan Turing Way, which failed to stop at the scene.
