Speciality coffee roaster 200 Degrees has announced it will be bringing its signature coffee shop experience to Didsbury next month.
Opening at 712–716 Wilmslow Road, the new store will transform the former Santander site into 200 Degrees’ second Greater Manchester location and 25th nationwide.
The launch will create up to 15 local jobs, offering full barista training, ongoing career development, and a supportive, people-first workplace with roles now live at careers.200degs.com.
Already a cult favourite in Manchester, 200 Degrees has carved out its own lane with proper house-roasted coffee, its unique Barista School offering, and a loyal following of local coffee lovers since first arriving back in 2016. Over the past 12 months alone, the brand has sold over 52,500 of its signature lattes and flat whites to customers in the city centre café on Mosley Street.
Building on this momentum, the new Didsbury store will sit on the bustling Wilmslow Road, spanning 1776 sq ft, with 90 covers, bringing its freshly roasted coffee, handmade sandwiches, seasonal drinks, and a cosy, welcoming space to even more local fans.
To celebrate the opening, 2,000 free drinks will be available for Didsbury residents. Locals simply need to sign up to the mailing list here ahead of opening to receive a voucher to enjoy their favourite brew once doors open.
200 Degrees’ Cluster Manager for the North West and Yorkshire Aimee Rhodes said: “We’ve been building a name for ourselves in the North West for the past few years, and we’re proud of the reputation we’ve gained in an already thriving food and drink scene, particularly here in Manchester. Didsbury is another great spot for eating and drinking and we’re excited to join other hospitality businesses in the area and bring better coffee to the discerning locals there.”
From classic americanos to velvety flat whites, every cup is crafted with 200 Degrees’ Brazilian Love Affair blend, roasted in-house and renowned for its bold, smooth flavour. The team also takes matcha, hot chocolates and smoothies seriously and the brand is known for its seasonal drink specials, from the current Banana Bread Matcha with cold foam, and Biscoff Hot Chocolate, to special iced drinks landing later in the year, offering unique twists on well-loved flavours.
Alongside coffee, 200 Degrees prepares and serves fresh handmade sandwiches daily, from a fresh Chicken Bahn Mi to a warming Brie and Hot Honey Toastie. Its extensive food menu also includes buttery sausage rolls, flaky pastries, and a rotating selection of sweet treats, including Banana & Chocolate Loaf Cakes, Blueberry Cheesecake Muffins and Billionaire Cookies.
