Fire crews battling the blaze around Winter Hill have set up a 4km exclusion zone around the area.
Set up by the Bolton research and rescue services, the zone, with more fine weather to come over the next few days and into the weekend has been provided for any keen walkers.
It shows the areas that have been affected by the fire and where Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service (Official) need people to stay clear from.
The cordon is not only for public safety but it will help ensure that the fire service maintains the momentum and progress they’ve made so far.
The latest update asof 7:00 this morning, said that firefighters are continuing to extinguish the fire.
There are currently 20 fire engines from scene including firefighters from Manchester,Tyne and Wear and Nottinghamshire
