You can travel across the city using the Metrolink trams which are available frequently, and it is regularly praised for its affordability and reliability. National rail services also run from outside Manchester to cities all over the UK including London, Liverpool, Leeds, and more. This means travelling around the UK is incredibly simple, particularly for people who need to move around for their job.
Higher Education
Finally, Manchester is home to three universities including the University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University, and the Royal Northern College of Music. All universities receive excellent reviews and can all be found in the southern side of the city which forms one of Europe’s largest urban higher-education districts. This, combined with the city’s transport and affordable housing make Manchester great for prospective students.
