With temperatures rising and the sunny season well and truly underway, what better time for the burger experts at Byron to brighten things up with their brand new summer menu?

With two brand new vegan burgers, alongside a fresh, crisp salad and a refreshingly cool collection of ice lollies, summertime at Byron couldn’t be more satisfying. And, as with the rest of Byron’s menu, the new additions are great to take away and enjoy in the park if the sun’s shining too much to be stuck indoors – so round up your friends and (weather permitting) a picnic blanket – and enjoy!

The Truffler  £13.95

Beyond Meat patty topped with irresistible truffle ‘cheese’ sauce alongside portobello mushroom, truffle ‘mayonnaise’, crispy onions and lettuce (vegan)

Cali Cheese – £13.25

Beyond Meat patty smothered with vegan cheddar, complemented with roasted garlic ‘aioli’, smoked tomato ketchup, red onion, pickle and lettuce (vegan)

Chopped Salad – £8.95

Beetroot, cherry tomatoes, avocado, cucumber, bacon, radish, peas, parmesan and gem lettuce combine to create a fresh, summery salad. Served with house dressing

For a much-needed cool-down, Byron diners can also enjoy a new collection of frozen treats with the debut of Ice Kitchen’s 100% natural, handmade ice lollies – choose from Milk Chocolate, Strawberries & Cream, Orange & Lemon or a vegan Pineapple & Coconut. Kids have got it licked too with a Rainbow Fruity Ice Lolly (with ‘cheeky’ hidden veg) from Pip Organic.

Diners can wash down their summer feast with some decadent cocktails including a Peach & Basil Cooler, a Bright & Stormy and a Salted Lime Margarita, as well as a range of beers from Brooklyn Brewery and Camden Town Brewery.

The new menu has been overseen by Sophie Michell, Byron’s newly-appointed Food & Drink Director, who commented:

“We know that our diners are often keen for lighter alternatives when the warmer months kick in and our new summer menu ticks all the boxes. The new vegan burgers are the most exciting part, you have classic summer flavours in the Cali Cheese (inspired by California) and all out decadence in the Truffler. We designed them to be enjoyed by committed vegans and people who just want to cut down on their meat consumption, without compromising on flavour. The lollipops are simply good fun, they are made by a small artisan producer, they are 100% natural and are a light, cooling finish to the meal. Byron has always been a supporter of small UK brands and I would like to continue that tradition”
