The family of a woman who was murdered in Walkden have paid tribute to her.
Twenty seven year old Regan Tierney, was found at a property on Manchester Road in the early hours of Wednesday morning
Her family said: “She was a loving mum who loved family life, she will be greatly missed by her two children and family.
“Regan was taken from our lives too soon. She was a beautiful daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, and an amazing mother. We will forever cherish the memories.
“At this time we respectfully ask for some privacy whilst we grieve the loss of our loved one.”
A man in his 30s was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.A murder investigation has been launched and enquiries are ongoing.
